Failed to connect to instance

Ok guys, I just confirmed that putting a VPN in place actually works. It is the only thing that works. I have a little bit of delay ingame, which sucks but at least I can play...

Tried every gateway thinkable and 2 different ISP's, nothing allows me to play. At this point it's having to wait for any info from GGG regarding the servers, cause something seems to be awfully broken right now, considering how many people are having issues.

I can be only in town and do currency trading, every time I try to get in someone's hideout it disconnects me.. so its unplayable to trade something .. also when i try to enter map from town it also disconnects me..

I think I found a solutiuon that worked. I was experiencing this for 2 days.

Conenct to another one of your characters but in standard. It will load your standard character into your Hideout. From there I swtiched back to mirage and it worked first time.

I'm experiencing the same issue.
I can load into town (Karui Shores), but not my hideout.
Sometimes even loading into town fails with "Failed to connect to instance".

I tried connecting via different gateways, different internet providers and different characters on my account.

Have you tried connecting via VPN?

I confirm, changing server (Milan for me) in the top right on the connection menu did the job
