Ziggarut map boss is just bad

op forgot about citadel and how dumb it can be with unbalanced mods..
for all the talk about removing some "mods" there are still mods that are absolute annoyance than enjoyable to face.. this map 16.5 and t17 map mods that appear some of them on top of other mods are not fun to endure simple as that, I will do it sure but it again goes back to the cycle that t16.5 and t17 do not belong in the game at all. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure." "The strange voice showed Aul a future where his legacy was forgotten, where new cultures broke themselves upon Aul's ruined world." Take me back when poe was the actual focus. " ![]() This is uhhhhh... ... not good, lol. We can call this "League ADHD". This isn't "retaining its playerbase," this is tricking its playerbase, or more accurately, manipulating its playerbase. (Tricking implies they don't know what's going on, so I changed my wording.) If GGG didn't dangle shiny new keys over everyone's face every so often, and reset all of their progression so that game time resets, then nobody would play the game, and the charts would be dead. How do I know this, you ask?!? Glad ya did!!! Why, because nobody plays Standard, of course! The observable reality is that people, as a whole, don't like this game enough to keep playing it. They only like it enough to play it sometimes. You can talk business and marketing all you want, and say "it works for them" if you wish. And that's fine, and seems to be correct. However, that's a different topic. That's business and marketing. That's completely separate from the topic of whether or not it's a good game, lol. And GGG may be profitable, but if PoE was good, then the Steam charts would show that by maintaining a healthy playerbase. But they don't. So... successful? Sure, I guess. But good??? Observably not. |

" Nahhh, come on, that's a strawman. I think you mostly argue in good faith, so I'll give you a pass. It's not about wanting to be busted at everything, but more so about not wanting to be barred from certain content. I've never played an ARPG that barred certain characters from being able to do its content. The closest thing might be Uber Tristram in D2, though, but the fact that's the closest thing from any other ARPG I've played (Diablo 1-3, Marvel Heroes, Titan Quest, Last Epoch, probably some others I'm not thinking of right now)... that's pretty damning. Those games never needed to feel easy, while also managing to allow everyone to complete all content. D2 even managed to have a VERY successful PvP scene, AS WELL as the success of the PvE scene! People ARE STILL PLAYING D2! And guess what? When they release new content, Standard characters get access to it immediately, lol. What a crazy concept!!! They don't need to entice people into their resetting game mode (to bring them into the jingling keys combo loop) by alluring them with broken league mechanics before they get nerfed post-league! (Manipulation, by the way, and very intentional.) |

Just need enough regen/recovery and the boss is very easy.
I would rate Ziggurat among the easiest of the nightmare maps. For some builds even easier than Fortress |

" Don't you see the issue with that? Not all builds have raw regen. With the logic you presented, you can just conclude that everything is easy, as long as you have enough X or Y. It's basically the 4Head meme, if you're familiar with that. |

You can drop a portal inside the arena and forget about those beams. Also, you're invulnerable for a minute after you join the arena if you don't move.
