Ban Landminers from Async Trade

With great power comes great responsibility.

If you can't be trusted with such a great QoL feature, GGG should remove the privilege for the rest of a league. Repeat offenders get the feature permanently removed from their account.

Accidentally listing once or twice is one thing but when it's an obvious pattern of behaviour it deserves to be punished. In terms of actively moderating it, multiple reports leads to an investigation which then determined legitimacy of the complaint. Maybe add a report scam activity button to the Async Trade UI and capture a snapshot of what's in the tab at time of reporting since screenshots are easily manipulated in Photoshop if you know what you're doing.

I'm fed up of these people wasting my time when I'm trying to buy a lot of maps.

They can always claim that they didn't do it on purpose though, that it was a mistake - they used the wrong currency. There is no way to prove that it was intentional.

We had a guy here who sold a Mageblood for chaos orbs, so it is possible to put a map for divines.

So you account for mistakes, there's a difference between mistakes and obvious patterns of behaviour.
Or maybe a little attention while buying could go a long way. I think the pop-up GGG added warning that the purchase price is different than what was in the listing is a good middle ground to address this. Is that not helping you?
lol, what is this all about?

POE 2 is not hard,it's tedious and boring.
Just read and double check before you're clicking on something. That's literally basic literacy, both in-game and the real world.
I've seen more landminers than ever before in the last week. I'm paranoid so I quickly mouse over a column of items now before I spam click them. The best solution is to be so poor that you can't be landmined at all....
I guess buying out masses of maps and setting up sales for landmining is one big ponzi scheme, lmao. I bet it's all connected ;P

someone lists an item like a map for the normal price, like I dunno 20c for nightmare now? whatever it's at

then you teleport to their hideout and their sale tab is flooded with nightmare maps. you buy the one you went there for then decide you'll buy more further down the list, but at some point they change the price from 20c to 1 divine and hope you don't notice. or some variation of this. minesweeper but for your currency stash tab.

so yeah as always, double check your trades. never, under any circumstances, assume you're getting what you want. do this and you'll be like me
