I hate the changes to chaos orb. you destroyed the economy imo.
" Yeah it's crap. For me though it's mostly cause I LOVED farming T17s. Now there just feels like nothing worth continuing to play for. Bossing builds are just 1 shot delete boss gimmicks, and t16's just don't get hard enough. The basically deleted the entire reason to make a tank support build in a game where coop play is already kind of ass. Last edited by Jhaerik2#3188 on Mar 16, 2026, 3:44:26 PM

You wrote a whole wall of text just to show that you don't know how math works.
Prices are set against divines not set against chaos. Thus now if you drop a good scarab its priced against a div margin (plus minus market fluctuation due to popularity and such), so it does not matter AT ALL if a div is 100c or 200c. If its 100c the scarab will be 20c, if its 200c the scarab will be 40c. This margin is always determined by market availability and has been since forever. Also I made 300d on day 3 and 4 and got my mageblood with ease. Stop making up stories just because you play too little or happen to have a bad luck spree. |

" You've not found nightmare maps? Or why are you complaining about t17s.. they are still there just not named the same and have better mods now... If t16 doesn't get hard enough for your bad build, maybe add some juice to it. There is no way you are doing 100% deli maps with beyond. Your current mirage character is hilarious, it would crap itself in any juiced map. So why are you talking about it? Tank support character has never been a thing in the existence of PoE. |

Economy seems fine to me. At least I cannot spot anything uncommon besides the chaos orb downfall. Sell your stuff in a different currency like Gemcutters so that you don't loose ÷ in value over night. The change in t17, kirac and especially the 2 added scarabs that allow you to not roll your Nightmare Maps at all makes me think that this has to be intentional and it would leave me speechless if anyone at GGG thought differently.
Stop thinking as chaos orb being one of the relevant currencies. It's one that you can easily delete from your filter now. I think your divines per hour is lower because it's a new league economy and simple farming strats (especially red altars) pay off way more in a week or two - especially the only really valuable part of this is nerfed. However usually the other currency start to rise right now. Last edited by cavexs#4102 on Mar 16, 2026, 9:03:23 PM

" Playing archer with shrine belt and not buying accel shrine with gull instead of massive is strange. It is 90d now. Literally will double farm speed, also will give huge proj speed. Do people really enjoy playing at poe2 speed? Last edited by Hornsent#1110 on Mar 17, 2026, 9:25:01 AM

" They absolutely could invest more if they wanted to. But the user already pointed out they don’t really see the point, especially when they’re already making more than enough currency as is. From that angle, their approach isn’t exactly flawed, just not aligned with a certain mindset. Sure, they could pick up a different belt and items and push for even faster clear speed. But at some point, it stops being about what’s “better” and starts being about whether it actually matters to them. If they’re satisfied with the outcome, the supposed upgrade feels more optional than necessary. Some players obsess over giga min max spreadsheet gameplay. Some get lost in the whole min max div per hour spreadsheet grind that’s somehow become a genuinely awful standard for the community. And some just min max what they actually enjoy, while still making more currency than most players anyway. Hobby Gamer and Professional Software Engineer & Systems Architect from Tennessee

First off, this is not an archer build, it is a totem build. I enjoy it because it covers the screen without the requirement to aim. I am not sure if I want to push it forward because I played the exact same build last league with a Mageblood and doing it again is kinda boring. I am still undecided on what I want to play and taking my time, after all leagues are even longer now so why rush?
Second, I don't juice maps. It is a conscious choice I make, just like how I'd play a dedicated multiplayer game without an actual team. I know objectively I am not doing the best I can, but then again, all these divines and items are gonna go to the trash bin in some months, so I better focus on my enjoyment. And I enjoy finding strategies where I can profit from Alch and go. Been like this for years. Third, increasing my damage won't hasten up my farm speed that much considering the type of content I do. Blight mobs, for example, won't show up more quickly. Fourth, I don't care about challenges or doing the hardest content in a week. Finally, here is proof that with the weak character I've got I've managed to easily farm nearly 300 divines without much sweat Mind you, this does not include things like coins and influenced maps since they are currently disabled Last edited by Johny_Snow#4778 on Mar 17, 2026, 12:43:31 PM

" Honestly I wish more people would explain what they're doing to make currency instead of boasting about how wealthy they are. For example, I'm farming strongboxes and ore from settlers. T16, not especially juiced, still haven't fully unlocked the atlas. Haven't found a nightmare map so I only have 4 scarab slots. Haven't gotten 50m value to warrant shipping anything out yet in settlers. Clear speed is terrible, because I play a summoner, so I can't blitz maps in under a minute. My stash is only worth 50d, 42 of which in chaos and divs, however I only made that much from a lucky amulet drop by Breach boss. Most of my earnings have been table scraps gained from strongboxes. Yes, this includes strongboxes in Mirages. All boasting about one's wealth does is prove that you can do it, but you're helping nobody when you don't make suggestions on how one is supposed to make currency. I'm not necessarily saying you should tell others what your current strategy is. Don't wanna ruin what you're doing, I get it, but suggesting other things would go a long way. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! The others found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on juice. I am not so foolish. Last edited by Pizzarugi#6258 on Mar 17, 2026, 1:28:01 PM

I don't really make a lot of currency and suffer from not doing shipments anymore. But the people i know that do not juice their content, but that are pretty happy right now, are the ones that do Delve every league. They just like the mine. Dunno why but they do. Anywa the changes that fossils are exclusive to the mine seems to pay out for them.
Every random fossil is 10 c right now it looks like. probably because you can reroll them to more valuable ones like Dense or sth. "It's craaazy", as Christopher Walken would say. So, if you want low efford currency printing and you don't have anything against the mines go there. The economy for Delve players is really really good right now. looks like Delve is the new Heist, lmao Last edited by Strickl3r#3809 on Mar 17, 2026, 1:49:07 PM

" Ask yourself how you can participate in the supply chain if you are getting started. Easy ways I would do if I was about to get started: - 8 modded maps (Add chance to drop more maps, corrupted & 8mod and 2-3 extra packs in scarabs). They sell for 6-7c each right now and originatormaps can sell up to 2-3 divines each. - Delirium boss rush. Play until 5 stacks, then leave mirror and kill boss. You get a second mirror in the mirage and a chance for a nice currency item inside. Pair with beyond or boss nodes to drop shaper/elder/conq maps. - Good old Essence + Beast strat. Don't know how good it is right now though. Can be done in lower map tiers. - If nothing works out just put all your point in Heist and just open chests then run to the boss. Pair with chance for shaper/elder/conq maps or even just get out and start next map. Always add altars if you are capable running them. I think everything is more efficient by a factor than running unjuiced strongboxes. However if you got 40d in stash as you told you should be able to upgrade your build to move up the supplychain and run whatever people that are doing the things mentioned above provided. If you can't you simply didn't choose a viable leaguestarter. Last edited by cavexs#4102 on Mar 17, 2026, 5:14:34 PM
