If Delve 2.0 were to come to POE, how would you like it to be ?

Delve 2.0 is already in poe2, it is called the atlas.

I was never a huge fan of Delve in PoE1. I know lots of people like it there but I think the fossils haven't been able to keep up with the other crafting options newer leagues brought in. They're basically relevant for a few specific kinds of crafts and that's about it. I'm not sure why else (other than preference) anyone would bother with Delve in PoE1.
I think one of the things I really didn't like about it was that from a hc ssf perspective, the boss (Aul) was so rare and difficult that I never got a chance to beat him. I only ever ran across him twice and both times he deleted my character with mechanics I didn't really expect or understand. Truly a boss designed with softcore in mind. The same thing would have happened with Kulemak in PoE2 if they hadn't made the fight accessible using a token that I could mule over to softcore and die over and over to my hearts delight trying to figure THOSE mechanics out so maybe they've learned a lesson here. Who am I to say anything, I don't respect my time either.

" Is it really ? I can play delve for hours but POE2 atlas drain my soul so much. Each map is too big. The only time I enjoyed playing it was when I wasn't playing maces. The atals would have been a way better devle if nodes were half the size of current poe map. I'm not asking for a jungle valley/dune every map but current poe 2 layout feels like T17 maps in poe 1. Too big. |

The size of maps is the least of my worries, especially since they've scaled them down twice already.
My comment was obviously tongue in cheek, but there are many similarities to delve in how the poe2 atlas is structured, and it was clearly done on purpose. Whoever was in charge of that decision needs to understand that random and infinite progression isn't palpable to everybody, hence systems like that should be optional, not the core of the entire endgame. I'll stop now, since this is completely off-topic. My apologies. |

I really like Delve in POE 1 but at the deepest depths its the hardest content in the game and the rewards dont scale like its the hardest content in the game. That is my absolute biggest complaint. If you can delve down to the several thousands in depth then you should be rewarded for that.
