[Feedback] Revert Campaign Difficulty to Patch 0.1, Campaign Is Too Easy Now
You want the campaign to be more difficult? There is a game for you. It's called No Rest For The Wicked.

" No, it's called PoE2 Patch 0.1, when campaign was challenging. Too many cry babies in PoE2, go back to PoE1 for zoomer screen-clearing mentality, which is a plague to the genre. Last edited by CharlesJT#7681 on Mar 30, 2026, 4:56:30 PM

" Unless some insane changes will happen before 1.0 POE2 will stay as POE1 but slower. Where as well as with POE1, the campaign is just a stepping stone that some of players might don't even want to deal with. |
" In my opinion, that is the wrong direction for PoE2. PoE2 should have its own identity of engaging methodical combat. PoE 1&2 should diverge from one another as separate games, not converge. Atleast, that is the vision Jonathan speaks of in previous interviews. Last edited by CharlesJT#7681 on Mar 30, 2026, 7:11:48 PM

" This league POE2 already lost 50% of new players it managed to attract before. Soon POE2/POE1 leagues will be played by same people with just lower numbers for both. |
" I don't accept this and is a very pessimistic outlook for PoE2. On the contrary, I'm hoping PoE2 has a very successful run and stays true to Jonathan's vision for a slower-pace arpg with engaging combat. It's amazing how negativity spreads like cancer on forums and reddit. Last edited by CharlesJT#7681 on Mar 30, 2026, 9:26:57 PM

+1
Though I am not for the reverting to patch 0.1, I think campaign is too easy, endgame too zoomy, and in neither you can see shit on a screen because all the AoE/many projectiles you have to use to kill all those large but weak packs. I would welcome radical balance/difficulty overhaul instead. |
" Wether you like it or not, this is happening since launch, this is GGG strategy and true vision - to turn POE2 into modernized POE1. This is what we see and this is why people keep leaving. |
" I just showed up. im with you. the difficulty is the entire point. |
