[Feedback] Revert Campaign Difficulty to Patch 0.1, Campaign Is Too Easy Now
|
Recent shifts to campaign difficulty have moved away from the engaging combat that defined 0.1 experience. Current balancing lacks the tension that made early encounters dangerous. Count Geonor was a genuine threat in 0.1, but players can now face-tank mechanics that were previously lethal.
I urge GGG to consider returning that original level of challenge to the campaign. Last edited by CharlesJT#7681 on Mar 30, 2026, 6:56:23 PM Last bumped on Apr 4, 2026, 3:41:40 AM

I'm not into that
Play HCSSF if you want a challenge. |
|
" Having engaging combat instead of mindless clicking is diamatral to having only 1 life. That should be more than clear. |

+1 on this, they keep making the campaign a pointless slog when it gets easier and easier
|
|
" Go play PoE1 if you want easy mode. |

No. Thank you. They understood it well before that ppl dont want Ruthless 2.0 here

Would agree with the post
I still can’t believe people were complaining about the wolves in act 1 and they got nerfed. Like how bad do you have to be at the game to whine about clearfel wolves? Same with the monkey slam what a joke And poor zarokh. Game does not need to be made this way please revert these changes Mash the clean

We cannot forget game is way more minmaxed and all boss movesets well known by now. Even if they rollbacked 0.1 state it wouldn`t feel the same.
No doubt 0.1 was best campaign experience tho. We still suffer from overtuned nerfs in 0.2 and devs are kinda scared to make things a bit harder cuz of all those crybabies. Last edited by SalamiHaze#9389 on Mar 27, 2026, 3:59:00 PM

" It was hilarious watching that one streamer (forgot which one) try to speedrun past a wolf pack, only to pull in more wolf packs and get body blocked to death. |
|
" Too many cry babies is the problem. Like seriously, complaining about clearfell wolves? Last edited by CharlesJT#7681 on Mar 29, 2026, 3:26:52 AM
