Inscribed Ultimatums nerf when?
" That's.....an interesting take. It's probably the single most restrictive league mechanic the game currently has available to play. Especially if you intend to use it for any type of profit. I would even argue that Simulacrums to full waves is easier and more accessible to a broader range of builds than Ultimatum. ultimatums are what they are - ramping challenges and it is on the player to bail out when in danger. even my most successful GG farmer failed a few due to Ruin bypassing the block despite there being less than 1% chance of failure. it happens
as to actually dying, unless you omegaroll your maps (+map mod effect) and do not accidentally missclick a build bricking mod - i find it strange my strategy for ultimatums was always CC: stuns, freezes, hinders/maims, chills, even knockback. anything to prevent mobs from hitting me. and that actually works wonders - unless your mods turns that off (cannot be stunned/immune to ailments) i did that on seriously bad builds, <10d builds, and completed most of them. sure, i had to bail from time to time, but hey, if i hit a great corrupt item i bail anyway im not sure how exactly map mods affect ulti rewards, but i run a lot of them white. catalysts (stack size) for sure are affected but i have a feeling it is only them. and with typical farming method (scarabs: all rounds reward catalysts + all catalysts>inscribeds + extra rounds if crazy brave) i didnt see a notable difference (as i also done many regular rare maps) but a regular, in-map ultimatum on a map with some margin of safety (that is you dont start with -max, extra as everything, ailment immune etc bs) - i havent died to that in YEARS. how would anyone die to that? ulti scales with waves, base 10 waves is walk in the park. extra toughness and damage kick in from wave 11 - so if you dont use scarabs youll be fine. Grueling Gauntles is ONLY for ~2 builds out there, and these people know what they are doing i honestly dont understand how anyone could die to regular ultimatum - aka wild spawn. you could fail it - if you get 'ruin with special ability' + linked spiders you fail no matter what. but die? cmon, get some defences |

They already did by adding cannot block ultimatum node, now you want it nerfed more?

Feels like it just got shadow nerfed, I'm getting WAY less div / map on average.
