Inscribed Ultimatums nerf when?

Fast Complete ulti on map - 2-4x Inscribes for 2-4-8x Divines doubling drops.

Few hours of Ulti farm - 40-50x inscribes for total 100-150x Div income.

At the same time 50.000.000 value ships in Kingsmarch gives few Divines and few Fracturing now, and 80-90% quant The Feared - gives literally nothing 9 out 10 runs.

B - balance.

Make 1-2x Divines doubling Inscribes stay, remove 4-8x Divines option(that too OP).
Mirror item can also stay as that rare thing.

You can't just do that with most builds, so it is balanced that way. If you play some crippled build that needs carrys but is very tanky, you at least get Ultimatum, so there is that. It is a good way to print divs but it comes at a steep cost.

Also, how is 50 mio shipment the measurement for anything? Afk gaming should always be much less rewarding than actively grinding a mechanic.

Some scarabs are just as rewarding or more than Ultimatum is. Bloodline, Hordes e.g. Breach, Strongboxes are totally op. How is Ultimatum a problem this league?^^

No you can't, but it is also one of the most profitable strategies if you refer to the feared popping up in maps via scarabs ;) I bet it's even better than Ultimatum. I killed some the feared in 8 mod corrutped maps but i can't o Ultimatum efficiently. SO there is a big difference in the nature of builds that are ok to do that content. To some degree of course, some op multim mirror build can probably do whatever.

Ultimatum in fact is doable on many builds

what is problematic is Gruelling Gauntlet. This one requires a build that is Ruin-proof - and there is only one - max block. And even with that build you need to be lucky and not hit ruin spiders as that is instant fail.

But once you stick to normal Ultimatum - i did farm them with glacial hammer

CWS is ofc the least risky, it is pretty much stand-in-place-to-get-loot but if you ignore effectiveness disparity, you can do - i did and im bad at this game - ultimatums with plethora of builds, including real turds like Wave of Conviction of Thartus self cast



I wonder about these numbers - i had my share of inscribed farming, but 8x Divs are quite rare. given that utlimatums take ~fixed time and you cannot run them faster no matter how strong your build is, there is a ceiling.

Scarabs for this are not cheap, ~1 div per of Inscribing or Catalysing. so you pay ~2divs per map to get 10-12 chances at a good reward. if you pick Grueling Gauntlet and your first round ends up with 'cannot block' you most likely just lost 2div

it is tempting. but even if you get your 8div you might also roulette into some build-bricking shit mods so you have to sell it. and if you get cold feet as an ulti runner, you sell that 8div for 4div because the risk is actually real

so yeah, jackpots look and feel great (yet i still got most of my ulti money from corrupted items - got some BONKERS stuff there) but i think you are overselling it a bit

Nah, Ultimatums are stupidly dangerous so the rewards are fine.

If nothing else, if we're worried about it being a currency printer, you can swap divine dupe with fractured orb dupe. That way it helps reduce economic inflation from the influx of div drops.

That's not correct.
I had a 3 mirror build kb of clustering that can facetank uber sirus and t17 bosses and it got deleted in random ultimatum.

You need phys convert and strong recoup/regen. Which is not something most builds have, since it's not good for other content (you need more damage)

Why should people have a bit of fun. They all should be miserable, and struggle for their things, right ?
As if ultimatums and inscribed ultimatums were not hard enough already.

we just had a nerf fiesta league and see how that turned out.
3 weeks after launch the league was dead as the moon. No one wants to farm juiced maps and drop 3 chaos and 1 alch from them.

High end farms that require the strongest builds should shower with good loot.
