Sick of the grind

It's not gonna work like that. My best drop this league is < 10 div and i am level 100 solo and i have invested ~150 div in my char. That's about the same for almost every league. Sometimes i got one of those cards that is worth a lot like Apothecary or House of Mirrors, most of the times it is wealth just due to trading away items that are in demand.

0 locks for me so far and 0 mirrors since 2014, i got some of those reflecting mists in past league, i heard they are very rare, but big whoopdidu

And i would never comapre anything to streamer drops. 1st they play a lot more, sicne it is work for them, 2nd they might have some organized group thingy going on where people trade for them or sth and 3rd promotional drops to motivate thousands of viewers could be a thing, i wouldn#t blame them and it sure looks like it sometimes.

Have you tried playing more by not sleeping?
Played since 2017, usually have 1-2 100s per league with 2mil+ kills per char at the end. Any char that didn't make 100 gets deleted, so lots of extra kills there.

I have not seen a MB, Headhunter or Mirror (outside of Affliction, where I got one of them). It is, what it is.

Game's still fun and it's still "easy enough" to make currency without relying on big drops.

Been playing this game for 4 years with a **** ton of hours played and never dropped a mirror, mageblood, mirror shards or anything else of great value. 2 years ago dropped a svalinn but thats about it. Tired of seeing streamers who party up getting a **** ton of loot and being a single player can't compete. If GGG can't make single players get same loot I'm out.

missing some key information here:

If you wanted a mageblood drop, HOW did you go about upping your chances re: juicing strategy and content?

Did you ever hunt cards for all these items instead of the items themselves?

Have you ever received them via trade of any kind?

Raw drops are like winning the lottery: but luckily the entire point of the extreme lottery drop rates in this game is that you.........don't wait for the raw drop. If you've been playing as long or as many hours as you say, and this hasn't clicked for you LONG ago...you've been playing with your eyes, ears, and brain closed. If you haven't learned how to build wealth or trade (there is only one character on your profile that's ssf), you have missed out on learning a full 50% or more of how this game works.

I am a 100% single player, never EVER in my entire 14 years with this game partied up with someone else to farm or play....that doesn't mean I won't use trade. Single player means something different for PoE versus, say, Final Fantasy...and it is frankly YOUR fault you never learned that. It's no secret that you can work your way up to a mirror / mageblood / any of those chase uniques if given a week of regular endgame play and a general knowledge of how to trade (perhaps not the mirror for many).

Do I wish there was a true single player mode with drop rates adjusted to reality without trade? ABSOLUTELY. But it doesn't exist in this game. And how else do you play a game except to....learn the environment and rules, and master them as they are presented? It does no good to sit on the forum complaining about something that could have been solved personally thousands of hours ago.
Starting anew....with PoE 2

Why do you need a mirror drop so bad...I had 2 in about 8k hours invested into both poe/poe2, mixed stand alone and steam, and didn't even flinched...OF course the first one I was a newb, some dude offered me to gear me up for Mjolnir arc build at that time that I so much wanted :))), I don't care that he scammed me with almost all low tiers, it worked, I had fun it's about that...The second I actually asked a question in standard about a pob calculation, some dude told me how to do it, and what I did wrong and gave it to him...The rest of the 35 mirrors I farmed, gave them in standard also on trivia questions...Why would you need a mirror drop ?

The mirror is only useful if it can serve it's purpose, mirror an item that it's ridiculously hard to craft...Outside that it's just pointless pixels, and it doesn't matter if you dropped it or farmed it. I think your problem is that you are poor now and want a mirror :D
Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.
Found the one guy who skipped Affliction league.

There are like multiple strats for solo exiles to make 40 plus divs an hour this league that take like 20-80 c to enter.

If you played that long and are not having fun maybe its time to take a break man . If you want to farm those things well i think you need to reassess what youre doing " maybe stop doing expedition?" and pick some strats that work " exploit whatever is meta and sell to them"
So you farm with decent atlas tree, scarabs, rolled maps, some item rarity and get nothing?

Even someone like me that rarely do more than alch and go with bunch of scarabs, dropped mirror back in affliction league, because back then amount of loot was so crazy, i just got mirror by trying real farming strategy for like 15 maps.

If you play on trade and need currency, literally just craft. Buy cheap fractured items and spam them with essences then sell, like ele bows or claws. Buy 6l body armor bases, spam random resist essence, sell for div or 2.

Using currency literally makes more currency on low/mid budget.

Making currency is so easy especially if you not completely new player, that you would rather go ssf because how easy it is.

12000 hours been playing since 2013 still no mirrur drop but i have alot of mirrurs.

Hoho expecting a mirror to drop? Still sane exile?

Man it´s about time for your mirror drop.
the thing for me is its all about mindset. why are we playing these games?

surely you came to arpgs to make a character, go kill some monsters in some dungeons and find cool loot, use it to make your character strong, and then that loops. each time you need a better item to fulfil that cycle.

if people find themselves so far down the road of this game that the only items left that you care about are stuff like mirrors and magebloods then you need to make peace with the idea that youve come to the end of that core part of the game where you kill mobs and find cool loot. youre done. its as simple as that.

there has to be items so chase that most people never find them, if thats the only thing left the answer is not for the devs to give you those things and hence ruin their function as the impossible chase drop, the answer is that you are done and you need to reevaluate where you are at with the game.

are you now gonna become a trade economy player where its now not about finding a mirror, its about finding a market strategy and seeing how many mirrors you can horde?

or are you gonna reconnect with the reason you came here, to kill mobs and find cool loot? if so you need to reset, you probably need to restrict, you gonna go ssf? hc? ssfhc? ruthless? you need to do something to take yourself back down to the level where you can realistically find stuff that is an upgrde for you.

a really nice way to play now is to go self found on your gear in trade league and only use the currency exchange. find and craft your gear, trade currencies for currencies to allow yourself to have a lot of resources for crafting but never buy actual items, find them, craft them. its great.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
