from a standard player perspective this patch still hasnt fixed the problem that no loot drops

they are forcing worse and worse drops on us and offsetting that with QOL changes which in no way compare

They just want us to play league and not standard.

Loot drop rates in the CORE game (without the Mirage league mechanic) are still garbage. You've raised the Exalt Orb drop rate, whoop dee doo.

Inb4 the standard haters roll into this thread.

I like your signature, basically my feeling also...The eternal "antagonistic" reason, which can be anything depending on how you interpret it.

But 35k chaos is like nothing lol. That's what half a mageblood?

Who wants to click 35k times for half an item?

The problem isn't getting currency, the problem is there are like 2 things even worth farming and it's boring af.

That's not even mentioning the removal of awaken gems and that god awful new RNG mechanic which makes playing anything non-meta a fucking awful dice roll for no reason.

THANK you.

Everything is absolutely worthless, lol. The market doesn't even HAVE LISTINGS for prices lower than Divine.

Uber fight drops are worth 10 Chaos - and will sit in your shop unbought - and you have to hope you get the item that's a 1% drop chance and a 0.2% chance to roll good, just to sell it for 50 Div, when the Uber fragments are worth 1 Div each and you need 4x per run!

This game is so impossible to make profits. But you know what, I digress. I'm talking about Standard, which I play because I don't want to reset my characters, lol.

You seem very confused about how the market works, and about what standard is.

Making profit is VERY easy en temporary leagues - because everyone needs items, currencies and services. In standard, the situation is completely opposite - as the market is saturated from 12 years of legacy items. You mentioned Ubers, drops and chances, as well as the price of fragments, without understanding that fragment prices will ALWAYS adjust based on the drops from the respective fights. And items are not (only) being priced based on power, but rather rarity. If you "got what you wanted" in every other uber fight, those items would be worthless.

I get it; the standard economy is fucked and it's hard to make profits when you're "competing" with players with legacy/mirrored items in every slot. But the standard economy cannot be improved without destroying what people like about standard. If you want the economy to "work", you more or less have to play temporary leagues, where the economy does in fact "work", at least for a few weeks. Why? Because it resets. Because players need items at every stage of the game. Progression. And not everyone and their grandmother can do all content (like in standard) because they don't have the gear - yet. That creates supply and demand, which an economy needs.

So which is it?

I'm confused?

Or the Standard economy is broken?

Because it can't be both, considering the fact that I'm saying it's broken, and yet here we are...

You guys are so contrarian it's painful. I could post saying water is wet, and I'd get pushback that loops back around into me being right but without getting the credit.
