Did the abomination map have this modifier ?

That is one of the worst mods for minions.

But you should not have any issues with minions dying on uber exarch or eater.
The showcase video is using much worse gear than you have and only one zombie died then. You can use Bone offering instead of flesh offering as a test as well.
