Captured Pantheon soul disabled?

I currently have 4 red messages:

Brine King: Capture Puruna
Soul of Lunaris: Capture glace
Soul of Solaris: Capture Fire and Fury
Soul of Shakari: Blacksmith

When I try to redo the map with a vessel, I get a message that the soul has already been captured.

Right. That is strange, if it is supposed to be toggling. You are using an empty vessel? I've never tried having more than one of these at once, so don't know if it is possible, but have you potentially got a filled one of that soul somewhere that hasn't been used or turned in?

With Purna you can see the stat pretty easily in character sheet if it is showing stun/block recovery. You can probably test if it is being applied or not.

If it is not just a visual bug with the red text, and you are being prevented from capturing a soul, while not already having one, I'm not sure what else you could try.

I will try again to recapture each of the failed maps to see if any let me run the map. I will also check on puruna's stat.

Thanks.

I had the same issue with one of my bosses (Fragment of Winter, the first one accessible in the Atlas). I avoided it for all subsequent ones, but it was a little annoying to fix. The intended part is that you're supposed to just recapture the boss again in order to get a 3rd vessel to toggle it back.

The main problem is that the map no longer tells you where the boss was. You need to remember or look up what map the boss you need is in. The Divine Vessel will still let you launch the map for those bosses without errors even if it doesn't say anything.

Puruna → Atoll
Glace → Beach
Fire and Fury → Lava Chamber
The Blacksmith → Dunes

Edit for clarity:

The red text for the pantheon's effect shows up if you used a second Divine Vessel for the same boss. (Alongside the error text in grey: "Capture the Soul of this boss again to re-enable this secondary Pantheon Power")

The overwhelmingly likely cause is killing the boss in both the regular map and the mirage, which gives you two filled vessels. Players who either aren't paying attention or don't know any better will just click both and lock themselves out.

This is being suggested. Does it actually happen? If you put 1 empty vessel in, then defeat a second miraged boss on the map, is it outputting 2 filled vials?

I think that is the likely cause, I don't recall getting two vessels though. perhaps getting two boss kills confused Sin.

I went back today and it let me redo the map with a new vessel and i wiped all the red text. :)

Correct. This happens every time you kill both the miraged boss and the regular boss, after having entered the map with 1 divine vessel.
I see, thanks. Probably is related to the cause of at least some of these queries.
Yeah I see what you guys mean after getting a twined soul filled vessel. Seems a bit strange to me that it does that with only one vial input, probably is the cause of the majority of these queries on the forum.

I didn't test double turning it in. If Sin takes them both from inventory cancelling them out at the same time, that should probably be prevented, as I see no reasons anyone would want that function.

Discarding the spare probably is good advice, for players that aren't going to toggle it latter, and players that are short on vessels, to prevent toggling it accidentally where they can't easily toggle it again.

I'm not sure this miraging of the flasks is needed. Seems like it won't be useful to the vast majority of player, and is likely to cause more problems. For the very small amount of players that would be needing to toggle it at some point, I don't think they would be too worried if this mechanic of doubling the vials was removed, if it is an intentional mechanic, so long as the toggling is available from running the map when they need to do that.

Unsure about the further queries of players that are saying they are being prevented from toggling it again.
