Where are my nightmare maps ?
|
I used to have a bunch of T17 maps. They were all converted to the new system, which is fine, but they are no longer known by former names such as Ziggurat, Fortress and Citadel. This is very annoying because I need to run those to get the extra 5 points for the Atlas passive tree. It would have been nice if GGG HAD just left them alone.
Can I use the new maps instead of having to have the specifically named maps ? I don't seem to be able to open the map slots but maybe there is a step I'm missing to do so. This is in Std btw. Last edited by BowWizard#1239 on Apr 3, 2026, 3:51:28 PM Last bumped on Apr 3, 2026, 5:53:22 PM

There might be problems in standard with the new atlas tree. I also wasn't able to do a maven test run in standard because of missing prerequisites. I only play league and the atlas change just makes it so that in standard they act like i never played thorugh the atlas, which is a huge design flaw obv.
You probably have to kill the bosses again in the corners to be able to run those maps in their slots, they are all in the corners and named after the known t17 map names. And yes you can use any map named nightamre map for that. You can use it to run a fortress or a citadel whatever you want. Last edited by Strickl3r#3809 on Apr 3, 2026, 4:44:50 PM

" The new atlas map setup certainly has it's issues. I was able to run all the nightmare maps - and yes most of them have prerequisite maps, which is a pain. It is not intuitive at all that you can appear to use any nightmare map - why bother calling them the old name in that case .. I was able to do all the bosses. I've not done Maven. I hate the memory game thing so I just ran Sirus instead. All good now though. I have the max number of atlas passive point and all maps completed again. Pretty typical of GGG - great concepts but poorly implemented. |
