Gold and Flippers

TLDR: Gold feels bad

Gold in its current form feels over balanced and not working as intended. Gold's goal is to force players into playing the game not the market. The balance of gold is ruined by a single item, allflame of the gilded. If you are sub peak endgame doing Kingsmarch feels impossible.

Forcing players to play the game is probably the wrong wording. Rewarding the player access to Faustus asyn trading or any other currency saving gold feature would be the better way to think about it because old trading and currency still exist gold free. Playing the game as intended currently feels punishing because normal t16 maps gives about 10k gold per map and juiced Alva gold strategy nets about 60k gold per map. This isn't let's do Alva for fun and profit its, I'm forced to do Alva not the content I want for gold.

Now once players have a bit of extra Divines to spend they can save the time it takes to run Alva and purchase a gold rota from the community using allflame of the gilded x3. These rota will get you millions of gold in just a few maps. This is were I think changes should be done because having gold to limit bots and market manipulation while also having a 3x stacking item to enable bots and market manipulation seems counterintuitive.

Kingsmarch is weird for me. As an older player who played the Kingsmarch league I already have the basics down but this league I got a friend of mine to start playing and he wanted to do Kingsmarch. Only to find out unlike every other league mechanic you can't just run Kingsmarch and make profit. You need to farm gold, then ore, then T5 workers and lastly send out ship after ship, hour after hour, hoping for profit. While on the other hand, breach go brrr.

Personally I like having gold in the game but I don't believe there should be a strategy to farm it for high currency players. Its ruining the point of having gold in the first place and only punishing new players.
