Mob from Mirage followed me to map

I was just in Crater level 15, and a Mob followed me from Mirage back into the map. This only happened once, but I'm sure that it did happen, as I had cleared the map before entering Mirage. The mob was one of those big, nasty winged guys, a Kitava Herald, I think they're called.
