I think the ideal case is to not skip at all.

Thinking long-term, if you're able to just rapidly swap characters like that, you'll just get bored more easily. It's like giving you the ability to have any +10 weapon in Elden Ring at any given time, unlimited.

Sure, the experimentation will be fun the first 3 swaps, but it gets old really fast. I've modded other games to be such a way, and I almost always end up regretting it.

Running through the campaign when the PoE2 campaign is infinitely better than PoE1 campaign is part of the fun of stringing the build together from early components. Every PoB I've come up with has changed in fun ways while levelling in the campaign.

The famous Blizzard saying was: you think you do, but you don't. Massive meme, but it's kinda true in this case. You'll be done with the league within the first week if you could skip and swap rapidly.

I really do hope GGG don't eventually cave to campaign skipping requests.

No offense intended, but that's what everyone's talking about, and some people are even saying they'd pay for it. Lots of people are posting about it on Reddit and forums.
