Non Crit builds needs a buff

Every build is pretty much leaning towards Crit, because it scales the best with good items.

That is making Blood Mage to be undisputed and the best caster in the game, as it solves two main issues:
- Crit Chance (base 15% any spell)
- Defensive sustain (Leech is broken for spells)

There is no other class that can do that.
You will find classes that are decently close, but none is as optimal as BM. Whilst the defensive part can be replaced with another strat, the Base Crit cannot. And as long as Crit scaling is far better than any other scaling, BM will dominate.

Just see what is happening. Every Caster plays Crit and Spell Leech (via the body armour if not BM). That's clear indication of something being vastly unbalanced in here.

Go give an Attack base Crit increase to 15% as an Asc Node and see what happens.

Imagine if some ascendency got to double dip into life from adding energy shield too, making it even tankier than other classes, and doing even more dps because we decided to have hit damage and crit chance (dps) scale off life in some instances...that'd be wild, and arguably bad game design.

But yes, I will also add for the 100th time personally, please untether ailment and dots in general from hit damage.

Agreed.

Every build ends up playing exactly the same... attack or cast as quickly as possible and trigger as many projectiles/explosions as possible to maximize the number of crits you can land at any given moment.
