Kingsmarch Corn Addiction
|
Exiles, I’m worried about the realm. Every port I'm shipping to wants massive amounts of Corn. I’ve got my Kalguurans out in the fields all day, handles gripped tight, desperately shucking until their palms are raw. They say the friction is giving them "relic-grade" blisters, but they just can't stop playing with the husks. Faustus is even starting to offer a "creamed" variety under the counter for a premium gold fee.
The corn addiction is out of control. I finally understand why the High Templar’s warned us corn consumption could lead blindness. My workers are spent, and the ports are absolutely gorged on my golden exports. Is this the "Settlers" experience we were promised? Because my crew is clearly more interested in girthy cobs than Crimson Iron. At this rate, the Shaper is going to have to seal my port behind a Zana-certified "Incognito" Map Device—because apparently, my Kingsmarch has officially become the highest-traffic Corn Hub in the Atlas, and the Maven is starting to enjoy watching. I keep hearing her behind closed doors judging "THAT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.", or "A FLASH OF PLEASURE... OVER ALL TOO QUICKLY." Last bumped on Apr 3, 2026, 12:50:17 AM

They said you can reroll them, reroll them if you've ran out of butter for your corn.
