How does Holy strike work with trigger effects:

I am currently playing a "Holy strike" build and am trying to figure out what main weapon to grind for. I have been looking into weapons with the "Trigger X on hit" effects and can't find any sources stating if it works with the "holy armaments". According to the wiki it does not work for "Animate Weapon of Self Reflection" and that "Holy strike" is similar to "Animate Weapon of Self Reflection".

I am asking if anyone has tried using "Holy strike" with any "Trigger X on hit" effects to see if it works or not. If it does work, do the "holy armaments" share the same cooldown or is it on an individual "Holy armament" basis?
