I don't know if devs read this shit, but I am going to try anyway. The game DOES NOT look good on paper. You have people who have spent over 30k hours in the game and have gained NOTHING. On paper, you look like a company that mooches people's time, money, and you ban people for saying stuff that you do not like. What happened to freedom of speech? The more I play path of exile, the more I lose motivation to keep going. It now seems pointless to just run around and kill monsters all day, there is no achievement or anything for killing the major bosses. I do feel the more time goes on, the more bots you will see. I say this because, there is no point to play POE unless you allow RMT. I walk into Rogue Harbour and ALL I see are about 30 bots, all wearing the same outfit, running heists. Why do you think? Probably to grind up currency and sell in bulk for RMT, OR, to sell the character or account to someone.

Not even a month after the new season, and cannot even retain a player base. A LOT of people probably feel the same way I do. Y'all have competitions and challenges for cash prizes, like gauntlets, but someone who is new to the game, or has a full time job, does not even stand a chance. Also, a lot of the time, you have streamers, where their viewers just give everything they have to them, so the streamer stays ahead of everyone else. THE GAME DOES NOT LOOK GOOD ON PAPER. My friend, I will not say his name, is one of the people who has spent over 30k hours in the game. What has he gained for being a dedicated player? NOTHING. The more time goes on, the more bots you will see, because no one wants to dedicate their time into the game anymore, IT'S POINTLESS. Look at marvel rivals, all you need to do is reach platinum 3 and you can enter a tournament. Hitting platinum 3 is EASY in Rivals. Like JEEZ guys, open your eyes, the future for arpgs is RMT.


The end question is, what is even the point of playing Path of Exile anymore? It's not like you can walk up to someone and be like OH, I DEFEATED UBER ELDER TODAY, but i think people knowing that Path of Exile is one of the only games where you can sell in-game currency for real money, would be more notable. I mean damn, with the rise of AI and AI taking peoples jobs, what else will there be to do?

I think earning ranks in a shooter is more of an achievement than killing monsters all day.

A post so angry it ended up in the wrong part of the forum.

Is this for POE1 or POE2? I know POE1 has a lot of botting and RMT issues and the richest dude was banned on it but POE2 seems to be safe for now.

I hope after 1.0 POE2 gets it's dedicated forum.
