What supports gems modify gems like Living Lightning support gem?

Can you have the checkmark/X when viewing support gems for skill gems/artifacts, also apply to some support gems like Living Lightning?

I put Excommunicate support gem on Static Strike with Living Lightning. The goal was to have Living Lightning go around and zap things and prevent creatures from doing chaos damage. But, I can't see if the living lightning is excommunicating with their melee attacks.

I thought hallowing flame support gem would go well with static strike as well as supporting living lighting, and I wanted to try out more stuff. But, I realized I couldn't tell how much damage Living Lightning was doing from it.

The wiki is helpful with some stuff, I wish I had more visual feedback of what actually works on the minions. Maybe a living lightning tab or minion tab that tells what supports it is using like infernal legion.
