Portal Scrolls + Map Device Storage Utility

Greetings fellow exiles,

As it stands when you have Wisdoms, Alchs, Scours, etc. within the 4x5 Storage that is provided at the Map Device, you get to utilize those resources within the map you are in. You get to identify and upgrade strongboxes to higher tiers with that stored currency.

It got me wondering, since we recently got a hotkey to be able to bind the use of a portal scroll from your inventory. I was wondering if opening a portal would be possible with the hotkey, using portal scrolls from the map device storage.

I rarely if ever open my inventory to open portals anymore thanks the QoL provided by the addition of that hotkey.
