Where are the unique maps ?

Please greatly improve unique maps drop rate. They are necessary for atlas completion and for getting extremely important crafts.
It's the worst league in terms of getting them BTW. SSF is worse just because of that. Last bumped on Apr 2, 2026, 2:56:16 PM

" ssf is intentionally made harder, complaining about it is non-sensical. apart from this, there are surprinsingly few people sharing their maps freely in this leage, which really makes it substantially harder to finish the atlas, even in trade league. sure, you can buy most maps but some are really, really expensive. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

I understand your frustration and I have no idea why GGG wants to gate important crafts to finding rare items... And in my opinion, there are also a lot of crafts put into deep red maps that have absolutely no business being there (5-link recipe from a tier 14, I think, lol).
The only thing I can suggest in order to help is that you try spec-ing into Einhar on the Atlas tree for a while or using Bestiary scarabs. There is a beast specifically for unique maps. Seems fairly common, though you will of course get mostly common unique maps back. Good luck. |

If the beast crafting recipe has the same probabilities for unique maps, it will also probably take a while.
I used to chance maps in order to get unique ones, but this method was removed. The Kirac shop was also heavily nerfed. Now it costs gold I obviously want to spend anywhere else, but the sold items are useless, except maybe for some scarabs, but we can farm them easily this league. |

I used the beast recipe in SSF and it worked well. The relative rarity of the maps seems to be the same, but the recipe lets you generate lots of maps in a short amount of time. Usually it takes a while to drop 20 unique maps, but catching 20 of those beasts (which will have a chance not to be consumed, if you have that Atlas node) is very fast with a beast atlas and herd scarabs.
Beasts are very useful in SSF anyway so the effort is not wasted. The one used for the unique map recipe is the Farric Taurus (of the Wilds). So if you're hunting for Morrigans you will catch a lot of the bulls. Note that Vinktar Square and Doryani's Machinarium can't drop from the beast recipe. They have to be farmed the old-fashioned way. Also not that for with respect to atlas completion Synthesis maps also count as unique maps. They can be farmed pretty consistently with Destructive Play and the Synth map atlas nodes. |

Having 10 different unique maps for completion is not that hard. It's the ones for meta crafting recipes that are difficult to find. But thanks for the tips with Bestiary, I think I can test that.

Yeah the metacrafting bit is annoying. I don't mind waiting a few weeks to finish the unique map challenge but the recipes are needed pretty early on. Had to wait quite a while to finish crafting my axe because I couldn't find a Coward's Trial for prefixes cannot be changed (even with the beast recipe). I got lucky on Putrid Cloister but that one can also be a pain to get.
