Lock mechanism in Merchants tab

What is the point of the grace period when adding an item for.

I noticed right away the price was chaos instead of DIV. Yet I can't touch the item since it's locked. And during this someone buys it. Took the fun out of this league enterily.

How can it make sense, you punish the seller with this lock mechanism.

You have 30 seconds to change the price before it locks

If it never locked you'd just get people trolling by listing items for low price and then changing it when someone enters their hideout.

You forgot it. You cannot buy an item during the "grace" period. Because exactly it locked! You misspriced it and only found out when you came back and saw that the item was sold for 38c, which was long time after the "grace" period.
If you have noticed it while in grace period you could have waited till it end and "fix" it. Grace period = locked= nobody can modify it in any way.

Nope, I stood and even switched hideout and everything. Anything just to get it unlocked. I kept opening Merchants tab and when it was bought it WAS still locked for me. I wouldn't take to the forums if this wasn't the case.

Item was available on Trade DURING the time it was locked for me.

Hoping any DEV sees this and can check what caused this.
Item was showing on trade, and bought, while still being locked for me. I could not change price, or remove it from tab.

Then the game malfunctioned. Notsure about this, but when an item is locked it shouldnt even be listed yet at trade site. You need to send a ticket with a personalized number about the issue. Dont wait for someone to see it. Not the correct route to take.

Immediately after the 30-second grace period expires you are unable to remove the item from sale or change its price for 10+ minutes. During this time it is available for purchase by others.

Yes. But there is a cooldown on removing or changing the price to prevent abuse.

There is a short grace period after initially adding the item before it will be listed in the trade index, and you are able to change your mind and delist the item during this time.

That's how it is supposed to work

What a shame, I always thought the grace period was in case something was misspriced. Guess I missunderstood how that works.

Oh well, this took the fun out of this league. Looking forward to next.

There is a grace period for if you misprice something, but that's before the item ever appears on the trade site. After that, there's a cooldown on changing or removing the price, to prevent abuse.
