Suggestions! Hideout Access, Menagerie, Social Systems, Spectres, and Kingsmarch

Hi GGG team,

I would like to share several suggestions regarding quality of life, player safety, and some unintuitive mechanics currently in the game. These issues have affected not only myself but also many other players in the community.

1.Hideout Access & Skill Usage Restrictions
When players use “Travel to Hideout”, visitors (especially buyers) can freely use skills inside the seller’s hideout.

This creates a serious problem:
*Some players intentionally spam skills to cause lag or disruption, especially toward streamers.
*Currently, there is no effective way for the host to prevent this behavior.
*The only workaround is to remove all listed items, which is not a reasonable solution.

Suggestion:
*Restrict visitors from using skills in other players’ hideouts, or
*Provide a toggle option to disable skill usage for visitors.

-
2. One-sided Social System (Friends & Ignore)
The current system is one-directional, which creates discomfort:
*If Player A ignores or rejects Player B, Player B can still keep Player A on their friend list.
*This feels unintuitive and intrusive.

Suggestion:
*Make the friend system mutual/bi-directional.
*If one player rejects or ignores another, the connection should be fully removed on both sides.

-
3. Ignore List Does Not Block Hideout Access
Even if I ignored/blocked a player (in-game or via trade site),
they can still use “Travel to Hideout” to enter my hideout.
This is a major privacy concern.

Suggestion:
Players on the ignore list should be completely blocked from:
Visiting hideouts
Interacting via trade access

-
4. Raise Spectre(Corpse) Loss Issues
There are cases where Raise Spectre corpses disappear unexpectedly, causing significant losses:
*Some corpses are extremely rare and expensive.
*Players may lose them due to unclear or undocumented mechanics.

Additionally:
*In PvP-related scenarios, if a spectre dies, it is permanently lost.
*This includes interactions involving MTX "Chained Combat Arena Hideout Decoration"

Suggestion:
*Prevent permanent loss of spectres in unintended scenarios, or
*Provide clear warnings / protection mechanics
*Ensure MTX-related systems do not indirectly cause permanent losses

-
5. Menagerie Waypoint Placement
The waypoint in the Menagerie is placed too far from key areas:
*Blood Altar
*Stash
*Crafting-related interactions

Players frequently need to go:
Hideout → Menagerie → Hideout → Crafting → repeat

This results in excessive walking and unnecessary friction.
Suggestion:
*Move the waypoint closer to core functional areas, or
*Allow custom waypoint placement

-
6. Kingsmarch – Layout & Notification Issues
6-1. Poor Waypoint Positioning

The waypoint is not near key features (Mapper / Shipping):
*Players must walk extra distance every time
*Example: After rescuing a Mapper, players must:
*-1.Walk back to the Map Device
*-2.Manually restart it

This feels unnecessarily tedious.

Suggestion:
*Move waypoint closer to key stations, or
*Allow remote interaction / auto-resume functionality

6-2. Lack of Notifications (Critical Issue)
If players:
*Set up Mapper / Shipping
*Then go AFK briefly (even 5 minutes)

Events like:
*Robbery
*Death

can occur without any notification.
This leads to frustrating situations:
*Players assume everything is running normally
*Only to return hours later and find everything stopped early

Example:
A player sets up mapping before sleep, expecting progress after ~10+ hours,
but the mapper died on the first map, wasting all time.

Suggestion:
*Add clear notifications / alerts when issues occur:
*-1.On-screen alerts
*-2.UI indicators
*-3.Optional sound notifications

Additionally, I hope the “Claim All” function for the Mapper can also be applied to the “Apply Item Filter” feature.

Closing Thoughts
Many of these issues are not about difficulty, but about:
*Player comfort
*System clarity
*Preventing griefing or unintended losses

I hope these suggestions can help improve the overall experience.
Thank you for your time and continued support of Path of Exile.

I forgot the most important point!!!
there is currently no NPC in the hideout to exchange Orbs of Chance, Orbs of Fusing, or Orbs of Alteration or someting. I hope there can be a way for such an NPC to be permanently available in the hideout.
