Advice on final Lab

After many leagues of hating all Labs but being able to complete them, I am just unable to complete the final lab this time. I am just continuously getting torn apart by traps I do not see.

I am playing in a darkened room and leaning into my screen and I am still unable to see what is killing me.

Are there any settings in the options that might help?

Is it just me getting old and going blind or has something changed in the game?

You can get "Light Radius is based on Energy Shield instead of Life" (mastery/craft) or turn off whatever reserves your life in dark (indoor) areas.
