Varashta's student

I can’t get the Disciple of Varashta ascension, it’s simply not in the list for selection. I went through all 4 halls of the Sekhem Trial, reset all 8 ascension points to select a new ascension, but there are only 3 ascensions on the list, Varvshta’s Apprentice is not among them. Tell me, was it removed from the game or is this a bug in the game?

Disciple of Varashta is an ascendancy for the Sorceress. Are you playing that or did you select Witch?
