What's with all the reflect on maps?

Reflect seems out of control for me this league. Even when the map doesn't feature deflect upon placement in the map device, it still seems to appear sometimes when I enter the map.

Am I doing something wrong?

Reflect is the most unfun mechanic ever implemented so I'd really like GGG to to tone it down a little.
