Clicking macro needs to go

Sorry but for high volume items, it is almost impossible to buy more than one item if others use wheel clicking macro or whatever this is. If this macro creates disadvantage for others it shouldn't be in game. I just can't buy items and I don't want to pay higher than its value. Just trying to buy Screams of the Desiccated (new gamba belt) for 5div and people buy whole inventory in less than half a second. Unloading inventory is something nobody cares about but this.

Actually, as far as I know, no, he cannot! I remember to read that this can be considered automation and therefore punishable by ban. If GGG can or want to indentify people using this is another matter!

The TOS restricts any macro or shortcut that creates more than 1 server action per key stroke/button press.

Example: you press F1, and your character weapon swaps, attacks, weapon swaps.

Binding your mouse button to a mouse wheel is nothing like that. Also, most of the popular streamers openly discuss and use a tool to do this, and clearly dont have issues

It is not what I read.

Any action made by an automation that allows you surpass the capacity that you can do it manually is not allowed. I saw those streamers, even Epirian, using this macro, but in a long time ago. Anyone that nowadays openly teaches how to do thoses macros always tell the chance to be caught and got ban for this. They even tell to avoid to roll the whell too fast...

But again, that is what I read and decide not to use this macro. But maybe it is ok, who knows?

Executable apps that run independently from the game
While not encouraged, these are permitted. They must use a public OAuth client if interacting with our APIs.
Reading the game's log files is okay as long as the user is aware of what you are doing with that data.
Automation of key-strokes (or other inputs) that affect the game in any way must follow our macro rules:
Macros must be invoked manually by the user (automated invocations such as but not limited to: timers, reacting to file changes, or from reading the screen are not allowed).
Each macro invocation must have one set function (it cannot cycle between actions).
The resulting function must only perform one action that interacts with the game (sending a single chat message or command counts as one action).
Introducing features against these guidelines or our Terms of Use can result in account termination for you as well as your users.
This was acceptable before async trade because it was not creating advantage against other players. After async some changes needed in my opinion

but if it is allowed, as they said, you can use it too, as Piousqd#0073 said, and solve the problem.

it isn't even a macro lol.....that just shows the level of misunderstanding. A macro is a program that combines multiple actions into 1. This does none of that.

It is an alternate keybind: something that you can even do WITHIN the game options.

They just happen to find the best key to use the fastest.

By the same logic, one could argue that one should not be able to utilize a mouse that has a high dpi because it gives you an unfair advantage in accuracy, targeting, and speed.
Starting anew....with PoE 2
So what is happening? Is the OP going into someone's hideout looking to buy from a Faustus window only to find some other dude is scroll wheeling clicking the entire inventory?
