How to craft/recomb hunter attr/life belt?

I imagine it involves recombination, but I've never done much crafting with it to be honest.

Prefixes I guess I could pristine fossil till I get life and t1 life. Or would it be best to alt spam till I get the mods I want on one base each? Then recomb those?

I'm not sure. If anyone could ELI5 I'd really appreciate it.
