Ground aoe damage.

In many cases ground aoe damage is crazy overtuned. I'm finding as a bear druid that nothing hurts me. Except these aoe pools, which are often difficult to see and apply their damage extremely quickly. Often the landing of the pool will hit for half health though, so I'm not exactly sure if its the bleed or perhaps some initial effect that is out of balance. I don't mind the damage and threat of death, thats great- however the vision of the pools, combined with difficulty can move due to sole amount of mobs- can contribute to a fair amount of annoyance. Especially when these pools get layered, and they do double damage to energy shield. I don't think we should be getting insta popped by dots... right? Kinda silly. Oh and a lot of mobs die and leave these pools. The overall experience is that you have to wait for the pools to clear constantly. So areas with these mobs are increasingly annoying. Additionally, if you get stuck in any of these cases, you just die. So you constantly have to be able to move, which means- if you want to be sure not to die, you can't go in. So then you're kiting and further annoyance, when you would never have to do so for any of the other damage. ssf or not nothing on the ground should be doing damage to you, except maybe the abyss phys dot degen puddle.
The rest is all based on how you built your character. We have too high magnitude of defense now that not even chaos puddles are a danger with not capped chaos res. Nothing on the mobs side need to be nerfed in POE2 thats not even a debate. Game is way to easy currently. Mash the clean
