Mirror Service automation.

It's a simple one (and likely hard to make happen mechanically) but should be self-explanatory for what I'm asking for here.
The idea behind it is to increase safety against scammers as well as expanding the convenience the trader provides, which has been one of the biggest improvements to the game since its conception for anyone trading. The direct suggestion for it: Having a method included in the trader to set a item not as a fixed price but instead as a 'service item'. Similar to how the dropdown menu in the premium tabs work but for the trader. You click on 'Mirror-service' and set the respective fee for mirroring the item. The player wanting said item mirrored accesses the hideout, opens the trader window and instead of buying the item they get a confirmation about mirroring it for said fee and upon accepting their mirror is used, the fee deposited and their item in the inventory. A quick and simple way to avoid having to stream, reduce the amount of tickets for customer service and make it more convenient for people on top of everything. GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings. Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease. Everything fixed but still broken. Last bumped on Mar 25, 2026, 8:53:00 PM

It's been said before but....mirror service and the mirror market in general is a player construct actively AGAINST the design of the game.
The game and the systems, as you point out, do NOT promote nor lend themselves to mirror "service". I believe that to be on purpose: I also believe that the developers themselves don't actually WANT mirror service to be any easier, or more widespread. In a perfect world, mirror service would be completely removed by adding the mirrored tag to BOTH items....but unfortunately GGG hasn't taken THAT step yet. I think the biggest reason that standard....sucks.....is because of this extended oversight. The need to jump through all those hoops to actually get a trustworthy mirror service serves as an artificial limiter to the number of mirror items on the market, and a limiter to how profitable said mirrored items can become. I think GGG, at the moment, find it to be an acceptable balance. I would prefer it was far far less prevalent than even now, but I would think GGG's mentality is that they do NOT want it to be any easier. I've never heard of a player getting scammed during a service like this. It seems like a lot of work for a nonexistent problem.

" This is also true: it simply isn't worth it for the mirror item holder to scam anyone.....they would completely lose the ability to ever duplicate that item again. They would lose their entire investment in the item for....what? Word would spread far and wide IMMEDIATELY. The community of players that is mirroring gear is incredibly small.
