Boost PoE popularity, advertising and revenue through...

Most by now are probably experiencing MTX fatigue with how many of them have been dumped into the game so far, which is why paying for viewership through twitch drops including sponsoring streamers with more SUB for MTX won't be needed when the game is in a better state.

Now, that that glorified farming simulator is complete GGG should aspire to design a model / feature where it doesn't rely on X streamers for its own competitive events and they'll require less resources where they're more automated.

Events should be spawning bi-weekly and they can be on a rotation between a Phrecia, Gauntlet and other formats. The current PoE ladder hasn't received qualify of life feature since the game was released, but based on the boss kill events GGG has demonstrated that the ladder can show boss kills and hopefully boss kill counters, including personal achievements/accomplishments that persist through leagues / seasons.

Finally, I won't mind these events to come with a seasonal / league pass, because I would happily spend $30-60 every three to four months supporting the concept and company. For a long time now my retention in PoE has been around a month at best where the Phrecia and Gauntlet events have significantly extended it.

They don't want to promote it. The devs hate it and they want it to die so people will play PoE 2.
