[Feedback] Rework Resistance Charms - Elemental Absorption Bubbles
|
To improve resistance charms, GGG should change it instead of granting resistance on hit to create a momentarily “elemental absorption bubble” whereby a specific damage type is absorbed and converted into healing for the duration as shown below...
Elemental Absorption Charms: • Ruby Charm: For 3 seconds, gain Fire Absorption (converts fire damage to healing). • Sapphire Charm: For 3 seconds, gain Cold Absorption (converts cold damage to healing). • Topaz Charm: For 3 seconds, gain Lightning Absorption (converts lightning damage to healing). • Amethyst Charm: For 3 seconds, gain Chaos Absorption (converts chaos damage to healing). Visual Clarity: • Visual Cue: A translucent bubble of the corresponding element surrounds player while active. That's a great idea. It reminds me of a spell shield or physical shield in league of legends. Like for example when Kassadin uses his Q, he gets a temporary spell shield for X amount of hit points for short duration.
Hopefully there would be other mods besides healing. Because with ES, if you aren't full life, that's basically on the brink of death. Last edited by TwitchGLHFsport#2155 on Mar 24, 2026, 11:13:52 PM

" That's what I was thinking, translucent bubble surrounds player and color corresponds to the element. For example: red bubble for fire, blue bubble for cold, yellow for lightning, etc. ![]() Also for balance, maybe GGG gives the elemental bubbles an absorption limit. Absorption limit prevents players from becoming immortal. For example, bubble can absorb a total amount of damage equal to 30% of your Maximum Life. If a single hit exceeds that amount, the bubble instantly pops. Last edited by CharlesJT#7681 on Mar 25, 2026, 4:26:16 PM

The bubble could look cooler than league of legends too.
