Thoughts on the 3.28 Mirage League Atlas
|
These are thoughts from an SSF player of many years. Do note that I'm not the best player, but I do get to endgame each league and have completed a few T17 maps last league. Mostly I just love to play the game and want to see it continue to be enjoyable.
Pros: + Generic Map Tier item to open any map of that tier or lower is huge QOL + Right click auto-open for unique maps was a big improvement that was necessitated by the new Generic Map Tier system + Generic Shaper Guardian map that can be used on any after unlock is chef's kiss. Cons: - So many gated locations! The worst offender is gating the Voidborn Reliquary behind the Maven. Seriously? It's already a rare drop (more rare than a Divine Orb) and it's a mega gamble that almost always gives a cool splash art of some common unique. Why block it behind one of the most annoying boss fights (looking at those stupid no regen beams that last far too long with an awkward hit box)? - Cannot do unique map until its base map has been completed. - Unique maps are difficult to target farm. For example, I can't finish my weapon craft because I need the Bench Craft "Can have up to 3 crafted modifiers" which is found in the unique map "The Putrid Cloister". I've spent a ton of gold on refreshing Kirac and am trying to farm "The Professor" div card from Relic Chambers (0 drops btw), but still have not seen any progress toward getting the map. Can't even attempt many endgame bosses because I don't have the damage until I can finish this craft. Last bumped on Mar 23, 2026, 2:59:50 AM

In SSF can't you just run the map adjacent to it with some % to map drops from originator maps and or with map scarabs? Should be farmable pretty easy compared to actual rare drops.

" Tried that for about 30 maps without any luck before I gave up and started trying to farm The Professor div card. I really hate the Dungeon map so maybe I didn't do enough runs? |
