Pilfering Ring update + mixed bag of feedback
|
With fracturing and ancient orbs going to the core droppool I would like the pilfering ring to get an update.
Personally I would be fine to exchange Transmutes and Augments for these two but there should be enough room if they just get added to the counter. I would be fine to exclude Hinekoras Lock. Its enough to have the counter for the mirror to never change. :') The changes to groundloot feel great! As a semi-new SSF player not having to farm harbinger for fracturing and anchient orbs also is nice. The droprates feel balanced. The change to kingsmarch feels only slightly too hard. Yes, it is now realy well in line with other mechanics but now it feels less impactfull if at all. It is nice to have the maprunners run all the time with the changes to gold but the loot from the runners honestly barely justifies it for me. I gave up on shipping for currency, tattoos and grafts because of the low outcome. I will probably rather farm kingsmarch lost shipments for that. Havent tried it yet though. I feel we already get good iLvl bases from expedition and well rolled items from breachtree, aswell. But in the end it is a welcome change. I cannot imagine how hard it must be to balance all these mechanics. Since I started SSF after playing trade for many leagues my eyes have opened. All the mechanics click so much better now and I am in awe about how well they do. With gold being so plentyfull I could see Regrets and Unmaking to be removed from the game to have less overall currencies. Lastly about the atlas passivetree: I noticed that the atlas passivetree, how powerfull and neat it is, has started to feel more and more tedious. Mainly the respeccing part. My idea would be to add the ability to automatically take the shortest path to particular clusters on the tree. The option could activate while pressing alt-key and hoovering over an icon of a cluster on the tree. If the player doesnt like the pathing they could still path manually. Similar to the feature from poeplanner.com. That way building a new atlas passivetree would become more fluent. As a con I could see that respeccing could loose impact (if that was the intention). The more I look at the atlaspassivetree the more I can apprechiate the thoughts behind it. It is so much more complex than I first thought. Compliments to the people who worked on that.
