Stuck on checking resources

When I try to start PoE, it just cycles through "Checking resources" and eventually pops up the message "Disconnected from patching server before patching completed. Try again."

I've tried running the client as admin, I've run packcheck, I've tried running client.exe directly, I've rebooted my network hardware and my PC. Everything else internet-related works fine.

I'm also getting the same exact message with the PoE2 client. I haven't seen any mention of a widespread outage, but maybe I've looked in the wrong place.

Anyone else having this problem?

Maybe a patch was going on. The game just loaded. No idea why it wouldn't for the last hour, but I'm in now. Can't figure out how to delete a post, so I'm just posting a reply saying it's now working.

I'm having the same issue.
I have to trigger the client two or three times, then it gets past it and loads normally.

This started just after I cleared the NVIDIA cache and lowered the size from unlimited to 100 Gigs.

I'm going to set nvidia cache size back to unlimited to see if that is the problem.
