Returning projectiles?
|
A lot of spells have projectiles that have a duration, and they don't seem to just be able to return fully. In particular, I'm looking into doing Eye of Winter with Nimis (CoC Cyclone, to be exact). Am I to assume I'll need 100% increased projectile speed per... hold on...
If Point A is the Eye, and Point B is the farthest distance from the Eye that a projectile moves from it... does it take 100% projectile speed for Return to make that projectile reach a full return to the Point A that it left from? And thus even more speed for the projectile to Return the full distance to ME? (Since Return makes it come back to me, but the Eye kept moving away from me which moves Point A away from me... ... ... but then again, projectile speed makes the Eye move more, too.) Oh crap. Is Return just unviable for Eye of Winter? Last edited by ShadyC#1006 on Mar 20, 2026, 9:40:24 PM Last bumped on Mar 21, 2026, 7:23:40 AM

" Thank you sir! I actually passed by his videos, the titles didn't look like he'd have the information I needed. So I'll have to mess around with it, and I'll try starting with his suggested amount. |

Eye of Winter + Return doesn't seem to be viable as CoC/Cospri.
I have... 200% increased projectile speed, and 15% more projectile speed. If the Eyes don't hit terrain and bounce back early, they don't all return. Some of the early shards make it back to me, but a lot of them (probably most) don't. That guy's build makes their maximum range a lot shorter, which makes Returning a lot easier. But that's from using Arcanist Brand. I don't want to play Arcanist Brand :( |
