M4 Mac mini - Apple Silicon Client stuck in update loop after latest patch

Hi everyone,

Since the latest update, I’ve been experiencing a persistent update loop with the Path of Exile Apple Silicon client on my M4 Mac mini.

The Issue:
When I launch the client, I get an in-game notification stating that a new update is available and must be installed. However, instead of downloading the update, the client simply launches the game directly. Once I'm at the login screen, it tells me again that I need to update, effectively trapping me in a loop where no actual data is being downloaded or applied.

System Specs:

Device: Mac mini (2024/2025)

Chip: Apple M4

OS: macOS Tahoe (latest version)

Client: Native Apple Silicon Standalone

What I've tried so far:

Restarting the Mac.

Checking Full Disk Access permissions in System Settings.

Running the PackCheck utility.

Is this a known issue with the M4 architecture or the latest macOS version? Any help or a workaround would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards

I have the same issue on M4 iMac, stuck on login screen, whenever I click the LOG IN button, it shows "Login Error There has been a patch that you need to update to. Please restart Path of Exile."

I tried to download a fresh copy from the website but the same problem persists. Unable to log in, unable to download patch (I doubt whether I really need a patch since the executable was freshly downloaded).
