🔥How it works??? Sire of Shards Serpentine Staff

Hi everyone, I’ve tried all the attack gems that have the Projectile tag, and I haven’t seen anything that looks like a circle. Did I misunderstand how this unique weapon is supposed to work, or am I missing something?

You are socketing the gems IN the staff, right?
