GGG Appreciation Post

I have played every league since 2012. Mirage stands out to me as one of the best leagues of all time. I have been having so much fun with this league that after 14 years of playing this game I for the first time felt motivated enough to grind out the challenges and achieved my first 40/40.

Very fun league mechanic with loads of new interesting currencies. Astrolabes are also an amazing design, although they suffer from same problem as wishes where they could def use a boost as far as being a bit more impactful, overall they are great for juicing and the heist room at end is such a nice little treat after finishing. I love the interplay between mirage and other mechanics giving them all something unique to farm for. I feel like they could have done more with the wishes to give them a bit more flavor and feel more impactful to your gameplay as a lot of them feel completely useless and the djinn caches are so absolutely abysmal to the point they arent even worth the click it takes to open them. I think there is def a missed opportunity with how modular the wish system is to have added some more wishes with patches to do more things like ridan or add bosses and other things that are very obviously changing the way youre interacting with the game which I found exciting and fun. The atlas changes are also a really nice change of pace and it feels much better interacting with it now. Overall Mirage has been a blast and it feels like the state of the game in general is in a really good place as far as builds/economy etc and moving in the right direction.
