Defeat the memory of The Elder in the Shaper's Realm
|
Hey,im left with the mentioned quest. I cant enter the Shaper's Realm although i have all the necessary fragments. I even bought the round ones and the square ones because i can't find the clear answear anywhere. I already defeated the Elder(?) in the Absence of Value and Meaning. Any help would be appreciated.

There was a thread some time ago with some very detailed info. Maybe this helps.

I tried with the red fragments too, nothing works. I can't even click "The Shaper's Realm" because the map and scarab ui does't pop up. Same with the Shift+RMB. It only highlights for a moment.

To access the Shaper, you need to clear at least two Shaper Guardian maps.
This uses the square fragments (four colors). To access the Shaper in the Elder's Realm, you either have to clear a nightmare map or Cortex. This uses the circular fragments (two red, two black). The corner bits that get added to the Atlas still follow the Standard Atlas progression rules: in order to access an area, you have to clear an area that's linked to it. The only exception to this is Eagon opening the door to his bosses during his questline. |

Thank you <3 I beat the Shaper on my second attempt. I'm a bit frustrated that there is basically no guidance in later stages in the game and most of the things and you have to look for yourself. Anyway, thanks again.

Yeah I think the questing progress need to have more information in general throughout the whole game. In POE2 it got even more vague. Developers think that leaving some things open to interpretation or mystery adds to the game. Which it can, but it can also add a lot of frustration. Particularly when some aspects don't always work as the should. I think sometime they forget how much knowledge is needed in the game, and it's not realist at this point of development to think players who are learning are going to be capable of figuring it out, even with help from the community. Even if they do, is it enjoyable, or preventing them from playing the game needing to tab out and have someone more experienced explaining it. |
