Lightning Resistance Calculation Bug with Tasalio node
|
I have a weird bug with lightning resistance and the Tasalio ascendency node for the Chieftain.
I have a two-stone ring implicit granting +16% to fire and lightning resistance, and a suffix that grants +19% to fire and chaos resistance. ![]() Without the ring my resistances are 137% fire, 78% cold, 58% lightning. ![]() Equipping the ring I would expect the resistances to be 172% fire (137 + 16 + 19), 96% cold (78% + (16% + 19%)/2) and 92% lightning (58% + 16% + (16% + 19%)/2). However, after equipping the ring my resistances are 172% fire, 96% cold, and 84% lightning. ![]() It seems that the extra 50% for cold is calculated correctly, but the calculation for the extra 50% lightning resistance is not calculated correctly, maybe the implicit drops the extra +8% because there's a +16% lightning as well already? " TLDR is the 16 for lightning from implicit does not work for Tasalio because it is a hybrid stat that can only count one time, for the higher value of 16. So you get 58 + 16 + 19/2 for a total of 84 due to rounding. 16/16 Fire Lightning Ring 0 -> 16 0 -> 8 0 -> 16 + 8 If you are using Path of Building, I know there was a bug where it would assume the 94. Not sure if that ever got fixed. I know the Tasalio has been reported many times, but it is consistent with other sources for hybrid stats, like Omni, that count one time instead of twice. |

Ah, cool, thanks for the feedback. I was just assuming that it should work for hybrid stats as well, and yes, Path of Building (community) showed it as 94 as well.
