Cannot use energy blade

When I use energy blade, it only depletes my health and shields. My character moves, but I can't gei buff. I need help.

Your claw has +54 Int on it, and an Energy Blade doesn't have any modifiers on it.

I assume losing the Int causes you to no longer have enough attributes to equip some of your gear. Maybe including the gear that Energy Blade is socketed in.
