Skitterbots and companionship

Does having skitterbots active remove the bonus from companionship event if I only summon 1 spectre that's linked to companionship?

(Perhaps not, reading skittebot wiki

"Skitterbots are untargetable and are never considered nearby allies or minions for effects like Haste, Summon Carrion Golem, Rallying Cry, or While there are at least # nearby Allies... modifiers.[1]"

Don't know if that extends to this sort of thing. Probably something you need to test if you don't get a definitive answer.)

I think they would, they are minions, not certain though, haven't used it. If you have the gem you can probably see the damage in the tool tip with and without the aura, if they are different. Not certain it will show either but might be worth a try.

UP, im using skitterbots and companionship + turtle. Looking foward to see if i didn't waste currency :(

JUST TESTED. IT DOESN'T WORK WITH SKITTERBOTS. Spend 30minutes damaging myself with the tornadoes from Bismuth Ore. With skitterbots the turtle doesnt take any dmg at all, without, the life slowly decreases as im taking damage.

Ah ok, cheers. I misread the increased life mod thinking it was damage. Sounds like the test you've done actually makes sense. Will be helpful to know for others.
