Unable to use filled Divine Vessel with controller

I think this is new as of the "c" patch - I am unable to use filled Divine Vessel with controller, but it works fine with keyboard/mouse. I'm relatively certain this worked fine with earlier patches, as I normally play with a controller and have used many filled Divine Vessels before now in Mirage.
