Timeless Jewel - PoB Search for Jewel Issue

Dad gamer here. Been a grind this league and just broke. I finally sell something decent for 25div and think FINaLLY!

So I go into Rue's PoB and use SEARCH FOR TIMELESS JEWEL. As I mouse over and search on trade it said it would give: Rage, Crit Multi, Double Damage. I buy it. Put it in and does nothing it said it would (random Str, totem and junk)

I use the ADD JEWEL from the POB search and it does indeed do nothing that the search said it would.

What did I do wrong or is it a PoB bug? The mouseover not work?

So frustrated I may just shutdown my league experience over this.

Most complicated thing to buy across the entire game is timeless jewels.

The number and the god are what determines what bonuses they give. And there is only one way to really get this information.

You need to watch a video on how to "search" for timeless jewels accurately using PoB. And then, you use the copy to trade button (making sure you are in the right league) to highlight the ones you want.



The timeless jewel you search also MUST be in the same socket that you are putting it into in PoB. Any other socket and it will provide different bonuses.
That timeless jewel goes near the duelist side of the tree, and the specific nodes that are highlighted (master of the arena, art of the gladiator, bravery) are the ones that will receive those bonuses you want. ONLY those nodes.

The socket was my mistake - after you posted that it occurred to me i never specified the socket. Jesus this is complicated.

Timeless jewels.....they are one of the worst things to wrap your head around in this game because the ONLY option is to use PoB, and it must be exact or it ends up worthless.

Yeah you gotta be careful, pretty easy to get the wrong one.
