Kingsmargen and gm Sam

Please don't delete this. GGG GM Sam says I should post this question here and in the bug forum.
Hello, I made a big mistake in Kingsmarch. I dismissed my farmers yesterday. Since then, I'm missing 2 million gold, and the remaining workers are using up too much gold—for example, they're using 40k per hour. If I deposit 600k now, it should last for 12 hours, but after 10 minutes, all the gold is gone. Please help me; I don't want to give up on Kingsmarch. So, if I fire all the peasants because they're stealing my gold, that's fine, but the fact that the other workers now have a wage of 40,000 in the interface but require over 2,400,000 gold per hour—that's tough. Update: It's gotten better. I can now have the workers work for 1 hour and 51 minutes, regardless of whether I put in 30k or 1 million. Wage at 40k... 30k gold and 1 hour 51 minutes of work

I assume you are running them on farming. Did you have any other activity running with other workers? Also have you been spending gold on anything else, like rerolling? If you have the problem again, probably just stop everything temporarily (Maybe not shipping or mapping, you might loose progress. Then load them back on one at a time, to see what the expense is from.
I think there where some changes to the prices before this league. Low level workers were very efficient, now I think the higher level ones may be more so, which would make more sense. Unsure about that, haven't tested, but seemed like that was happening for me, along with the other changes. Not sure exactly what you encountered without more information, but it sounds like maybe you had other expensive work running that completed, so the wage per hour dropped. Wage at 40k... 30k gold and 1 hour 51 minutes of work" If it is a job that has a set amount of work to be completed (Basically all of them, except farming crops, which is infinite) The time to complete may not change based on the workers wages. For some of them it may, depending on the efficiency, but for some it may not. It depends on exactly what you are doing. Shipping the worker level effects how much they can carry, mapping how likely they are to complete maps, the others I believe relate to efficiency and how much they can do per hour.
