Why is the new belt with "echoing shrine" jump in price so massively after the patch ?

So the belt was like 180-190 div and after the patch like 2-3 hours later it is now at 500 div+...At the same time it felt like awso many people just panic buy them all out or something. But why and what has this to do with the patch? By the way the black baraya coin is basicly at the same price buying them to farm the belt didn't make up for the insane price increase..


Edit: seems like 2 more hours down the line and price just start to drop down to around 330d atm.

Supply is just really low. Small sample size but I've gotten 3 of the updated wish for Ridan in under 20 maps since patch. I would guess that on average more baryas will be entering the economy now despite the fact that people can't spam City Square trying to get multiple baryas at once anymore. Currently the price is actually slightly up but we'll see.

I don't think single mod belts can maintain high prices forever. The rare mods seem to be a 1/200 chance to roll which is pretty common all things considered. I doubt doubles will fall much, if at all. People will buy them as trophies even if they're not going to use them.

What is the wish called exactly? I had 3 invites within the first few days from the npc that was just in the map randomely and zero ever since. Just poof gone, never showed up again.
And i haven't seen a single wish, but that might be because the wish has a weird text and doesn't say anything about it what it actually does?

its wish for rust to get the barya dude to spawn, I hope supply is going to be higher because right now it feels like they get getting scalped and the earning targets getting higher each time i look which makes it kinda pointless.

Aight I ran like 3 hours of casual mapping without getting Ridan at all so my 3 out of 20 sample size was really inaccurate. Belt prices to the moon and beyond!
